Skull base tumors can arise near critical nerves, blood vessels, and structures involved in hearing, vision, balance, and hormone function. Treatment planning considers the tumor type and location as well as the safest route to reach it while protecting nearby anatomy.
Dr. Martinez del Campo performed over 700 complex cranial cases during the senior years of his neurosurgical training and then completed a dedicated skull base and brain tumor fellowship. His fellowship included advanced training in both open and minimally invasive skull base surgery, allowing the operative approach to be selected around the needs of each case.
